Assemble of wood chairs / 2015 - 190 x 65 x 39 cm
I have always been interested in what the search for a place of my own can mean, so today in my proposals I explore the value of the land, its distribution and the forms of power that safeguard it. It is then when observing what I recognize as territory, I question how this, being a common natural good, acquires a sense of product that is negotiated in a fragmented and systematic way. The possibilities within the artistic practices allow me to use drawing, interdisciplinary dialogues, traditional techniques of manufacture, software and technologies, to relate these ideas and configure installation objects that I build with reusable materials such as wood, iron and polymers. I use geometric forms and nature, with constructive principles typical of industry, architecture and crafts. Forms and surfaces that intervene places, occupying them and sometimes inviting the spectator to interact, generating effects and routes that account for the human presence on the territory.
