Bronze / 2014 - 18 x 14 x 14 cm
Throughout his career, Amaral has explored different paths and techniques in the development of his creative process. As a sculptor, it presents disproportionate bodies that at the same time reflect beauty and a surprising aesthetic sensibility. His pieces express a concern to unveil the mystery of the human being: a mixture between the earthly and the divine, a need for protection and defense, a search for identity that is beautiful between the masculine and feminine. His perfectionist character is reflected in his work as a goldsmith. Amaral builds small bronze pieces - tables, chairs and boxes - in which he mixes old objects with modern elements that he incorporates. These works reveal his impressive creativity and imagination.
